Executive Team
Jason Wesbecher
Jason joined TrustArc in April 2021 to help accelerate global go to market for TrustArc’s category-leading suite of privacy software applications. Jason brings with him 23 years of experience as a metrics-driven revenue leader, leveraging a disciplined playbook & culture for growth.
Prior to joining TrustArc, Jason spent 4 years leading revenue, marketing and field operations for Corel, and was part of the executive team that transacted Corel to KKR for over $1B in the summer of 2019. Jason’s expertise is navigating the challenges of turnarounds, the complexity of M&A, and evangelizing technologies within nascent markets. Prior to Corel, Jason held various sales & marketing leadership positions at Mattersight, Jive Software, TIBCO Software, and Siebel Systems. Jason holds an Economics degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Tim Sullivan
Tim has led Finance, Accounting, and HR at TrustArc since 2010, leading the company through significant expansion and growth in terms of employees, geographic coverage, and business operations.
Before joining TrustArc, Tim gained 15 years of financial and strategic management expertise working with various technology companies as a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley’s Technology Group. At Morgan Stanley, Tim worked with the full spectrum of technology companies — computer hardware, software, internet, semiconductor and semiconductor capital equipment, and contract manufacturing — and spent several years as the Co-Head of its Global Semiconductor Practice. Tim helped his clients raise over $12 billion in equity and debt financings and advised on over $20 billion in strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Tim has a BS in Business Administration with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley. Tim enjoys car restorations, DIY projects and the outdoors (particularly Maui).
Valerie Jones-Harvey
Valerie joined TrustArc in September 2021 to lead the account management team for TrustArc and quickly transformed process and results for both renewals and expansion. As TrustArc’s Chief Customer Officer, Valerie oversees all Sales and Service Delivery teams with the sole goal of aligning people, process and tools around TrustArc customers and their success.
Prior to joining TrustArc, Valerie led sales, account management, customer success and service teams for ClearSlide (sold to BigTinCan in January 2021), MindManager (a division of Corel), and Lyris. Her 18+ years of sales, success and service experience combined with her empathetic leadership style and expertise in process- and data-oriented sales and customer service models create a dynamic combination that achieves results for customers and internal stakeholders alike. Valerie holds degrees from Willamette University and California State University, Fresno, and she is an active executive member of Pavilion.
Noël Luke
Noël is a dedicated and experienced privacy professional who brings a deep understanding of global privacy laws and industry best practices to her role as Chief Assurance Officer. She joined TrustArc in 2015 and is responsible for overseeing and enhancing TrustArc’s robust assurance programs, which are at the forefront of privacy and compliance excellence.
Prior to joining TrustArc Noël spent 8 years as a practicing attorney in California. Noël holds a B.A. in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and an LL.M. from the University of Washington, School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in California and Washington State.
She holds the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) recognition from the IAPP as well as the following CIPP certifications: CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/A, and CIPM.
Mike Kenny
Mike joined TrustArc in June 2021 to lead revenue operations at TrustArc and created a thorough and rigorous process to analyze funnels from end-to-end, leading a critical transformation of the Sales go-to-market motion. As TrustArc’s Chief Data Officer, Mike’s metric-driven playbook of accountability and transparency extends to all aspects of the business to create an organization that uses data as its true north star for all decision-making.
Before joining TrustArc, Mike led global sales operations for Corel Corporation and Absolute Software. With over 30+ years of experience in sales and operations roles, Mike brings a keen understanding of the different disciplines within an organization, attention to detail in how they work together, and the ability to translate these inputs into playbooks and metrics that supercharge results and revenue for organizations. When Mike isn’t transforming data into dollars, he’s with his family and two dogs enjoying the Texas Hill Country and his 4 Emmys on the shelf.

Andrew Braccia
Andrew Braccia joined Accel in 2007 and focuses on consumer-oriented mobile and web services companies. He was an early investor and on the boards of Slack, lynda.com (acquired by LinkedIn), Squarespace, Vox Media, Cornershop, MyFitnessPal (acquired by Under Armour), Hotel Tonight, Cloudera (public), Anchor.fm, Gametime, and UserTesting. He also works closely with the teams at Braintree (acquired by PayPal), Etsy (public), Xero (public), and PagerDuty.
Prior to joining Accel, Andrew spent close to a decade in a variety of executive positions at Yahoo!
Andrew is from Santa Rosa, California and graduated from the University of Arizona.
Jeb Miller
Jeb Miller joined Icon Ventures in 2009 as a General Partner, bringing over fifteen years of experience working with early-stage technology companies as a venture capitalist, operating executive, and investment banker. Jeb has relentless energy and is passionate about teaming with entrepreneurs to help build successful companies. He also serves as a consultant to the US Department of Defense’s Rapid Reaction Technology Office.
Jeb’s venture capital career began with Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, a corporate venture group he co-founded in 2001. He then further developed his venture investing skills with two leading venture capital firms, three years as a Partner with ComVentures and three years as a Principal with Worldview Technology Partners. Prior to joining Icon Ventures, Jeb was with the Silicon Valley office of The Carlyle Group focused on technology investing. He also gained valuable operating experience as Managing Director of Business Development for Scient, a pioneering Internet consulting firm that helped build and launch over two dozen early internet start-ups. Jeb began his career with Morgan Stanley’s technology investment banking groups in New York, Boston, and Menlo Park. At Icon, Jeb is on the Board of Button, CloudPhysics, Duetto, Exabeam, Ripcord, Rylo, TrustArc, and TUNE, and is a Board observer at Delphix and Quizlet. Prior Icon portfolio companies include Aster Data Systems (Teradata), Inkling (Marlin), FireEye (FEYE), MoPub (Twitter), Ocarina Networks (Dell), Oodle (QVC), Origami Logic (Intuit), Pertino (Cradlepoint), Vuclip (PCCW) and WGT Sports (Topgolf).
Jeb’s past investments include AdInfuse (Velti), Innotas (Planview), IntruVert Networks (McAfee), LogLogic (TIBCO), ONStor (LSI Logic) and Rhapsody Networks (Brocade). Over the course of Jeb’s seventeen-year venture capital career, he has had the opportunity to work with over 40 start-ups. Jeb has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Harvard College where he graduated summa cum laude and played water polo.
Sandeep Swaminathan
Sandeep Swaminathan is an Partner at Bregal Sagemount, where he is focused on partnering with portfolio company management to drive accelerated growth while building operational scale. Prior to joining Bregal Sagemount, Sandeep worked at Vista Equity Partners in their operating group, where he led operational transformation of billion dollar enterprise value companies driving dramatic improvements across all facets of the business ranging from Sales to Product Management. Prior to Vista, at Sears Holdings, he was responsible for Sears’ Apparel eCommerce business as well as their Member Rewards Program. Earlier in his career, Sandeep worked at Manhattan Associates, an enterprise software company, and was responsible for their mid-market solution for the Asia Pacific region.
Sandeep received an MS in Industrial Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Chris Babel
Chris has been CEO at TrustArc since 2010 and has led the company through significant growth and transformation into a leading global privacy compliance and risk management company. Chris is a privacy thought leader, as he frequently speaks at industry events such as the IAPP Data Protection Congress, the Privacy Identity Innovation Conference and the IoT Privacy Summit. He is also widely quoted as a privacy expert in well-known publications such as PCWorld, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.
Before joining TrustArc, Chris spent over a decade building online trust, most recently in the security industry as Senior Vice President and General Manager of VeriSign’s worldwide Authentication Services business, where he was responsible for strategy, sales, marketing, product and support. Chris also previously managed VeriSign’s SSL and Managed Security Services business. In these roles he helped grow the businesses through the launch of new products to enterprise and small/medium businesses, international expansion in EMEA and Asia and through acquisition and integration of a number of companies.
Chris holds a BA in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics with Highest Distinction from Northwestern University and lives with his wife and three sons in San Francisco.
