Tracking the GDPR:

How to Keep Up with National Law Developments

 quarterly-update-webinar

Broadcast Date: March 07, 2019 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM EST

The GDPR has been in force for almost a full year and it is clear data protection authorities are taking its application seriously. Investigations into compliance efforts are ongoing across the European Union, large-scale complaints are being filed by civil society groups and the first sanctions, including large fines and suspensions of data processing, have been handed down.

At the same time, there are still EU Member States that have not finalized their implementing legislation to make full use of the leeway GDPR offers to the national level. And not all data protection authorities have been fully up and running since 25 May. What does this mean in practice? And what do the implementing laws that have been adopted have for effect?

During this quarterly webinar, we will provide you with the latest news and main updates on the state of GDPR in Europe and around the world, including:

  • Legislative updates
  • Regulatory guidance at national and EU level
  • Enforcement action
  • Adequacy discussions
  • And more

You will hear it all during this new webinar series. Plus get the most current national implementation information by country from our GDPR Implementation Tracker.
