Broadcast Date: October 11, 2018

Most privacy laws from around the world contain one or more provisions to allow individuals to understand what organizations know about them and how their data is being processed. Often, additional rights, like the possibility to get data corrected or deleted, exist as well. Depending on the jurisdiction, these so-called data subject request rights, can vary, both in the legal requirements to take into account and their practical application.

In the run up to the publication of the Nymity Handbook on Data Subject Rights, join us for this webinar that will explore the most common data subject request rights. What do they entail, how do they apply and what can responsible organizations do, to ensure and demonstrate compliance? During the webinar, our own experts and guests will discuss examples from the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California’s Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other laws from around the globe.
